How to set the best Location and Activity permissions:
The Window Seater app picks up stories that we’ve left (virtually) alongside train lines. So the app needs to know where you are (even if the app isn’t open), and to be able to notify you when it finds something.
It can do this only if you have the following settings switched on:
- Allow the app to access this device’s location
- Allow the app to access your location in the background (commonly called “Allow all the time”)
- Allow the app to access your motion and physical activity
- Allow the app to send you notifications
